INSECT/ARACHNID MESSAGES
Insects bring messages to help give guidance from the universe! If you are pondering whether it would be auspicious to take a certain action, contact a certain person, or go in a certain direction, insects can help! It is possible that an insect may be tuning into your prayers or questions, and trying to give you the best answer. Insects have their purpose, and they communicate subconsciously. Every insect is different, but they bring very clear messages with their presence, characteristics, movements, and actions. Everything in the universe speaks to you, your thoughts do have energy, and the answers will be given to you.
BEE
We are talking Honey Bee medicine! There are 3 castes of Honey Bees:
The Queen Honey Bee- Her purpose is reproduction and breeding. She rules fertility. She rules the hive! She can sting more than once without dying.
The Drone Honey Bees-They do not sting at all and they don’t do much but breed and eat all the honey. They are all males. Drones eyes are noticeably bigger than the other castes. This helps them to spot the queen.
The Worker Honey Bees- They do all the work! Everything from guarding the hive to cleaning and maintaining the hive! They are all female. They can sting once and then they die.
Bee medicine has to do with accomplishing the impossible!
It represents the sweetness found in our own hearts. No matter how great our dream is, there is a promise of fulfillment if we pursue our dreams.
According to one ancient Egyptian myth, honey bees were the tears of the sun god Ra. In this context, the bee was seen as the messenger of the gods. Falling down like tears towards the earth to pass on some secret message.
BUTTERFLY
Invoke butterfly for self-transformation, spiritual growth, and change. Butterfly indicates that a change is coming. Butterfly encourages you to show your true beauty, and not to hide what is inside you. If you are encountering butterflies lately, the predominant message is that you are ready to undergo some type of transformation. Butterfly encourages you to allow yourself the freedom to emerge from your cocoon and show off your true beauty. Obviously, butterfly’s message is to let go of the past, and to let go of what may feel safe or comfortable to open yourself to new possibilities. It’s message is to tell you to move on to a higher, more meaningful purpose. A purpose that allows you to be your true self. Butterfly urges you to set yourself free from people, situations, or habits that limit who you are.
DRAGONFLY
Dragonfly is the master of illusions! If you feel you need a change, call on Dragonfly to guide you through the mist of illusion to the pathway of transformation. Dragonfly’s message is to balance mind and emotions. A dragonfly can also help you draw upon both your intellect and intuition to achieve your objectives. MOTH
Seeing or dreaming of a moth signifies change and transformation. Sometimes, change is a slow process as we integrate our dark side and accept a more holistic version of ourselves. Moths are the darker side of the butterfly. Stealth camouflage is the moth’s greatest superpower. Therefore, moth medicine offers the power of shapeshifting. Moth represents concealment: What are we concealing from others? What are we even concealing from ourselves? Parts of ourselves and situations are still there and must be faced; otherwise, we will have holes in our persona and lives. Things will slowly deteriorate because we are avoiding the obvious. Moth advises to be more keenly aware of the shadow realms. The moth is representative of astral manipulation, transformation, and alchemy. Also, be aware that every contact that you are experiencing right now is a reflection of you. Sometimes it is concealed deep in the inner realms of our being, and our environment brings it to light. Moths are a sign to trust your intuition.
Moth power, at its best, is enthusiastic and whimsical. Moth knows the value of disguise. This means you won’t know what’s happening because they will project what they want you to believe about themselves. Moths are great at mimicking other animals.
Moth urges you to pay attention to your senses. It’s important to pay attention to smells and scents. Moths can smell things from far away. With moth energy, your sense of smell can tell you a lot about what you are experiencing and what you’re about to experience.
Moths have the greatest hearing capability of all insects. Moth medicine encourages you to listen to what is being said if you find yourself anxious or confused. To navigate in the dark, trust your intuition.

PRAYING MANTIS
If you see a praying mantis in waking life or in a dream, it might advise you to be still and conserve your energy! It could also encourage you to shift your focus from material to spiritual things. A praying mantis might show up to warn you to be quiet- and don’t reveal your intention at this time.
If you are wasting energy on things that aren’t good for you, a praying mantis can show you how to be more discriminating. It can also teach you how to meditate and to find the stillness within you. Go within to find the solution to your problem or create a plan for the your life what you are seeking. Praying mantis teaches us patience, adaptability, balance, discrimination, and recognizing timing, and opportunity. Still and silent observation aids in creating, and manifesting opportunities. Meditation, prayer, focus, keen observation, and silence are the tools praying mantis wishes to teach you!
SCORPION
I was visiting an island in Vietnam. I spent a lot of time walking on the island. Walking down a dirt road, I saw a very large scorpion in the middle of the road. In Atlanta, I’ve had scorpions in my house and I’ve dealt with them on campsites, but they’re much smaller. The scorpion I saw in Vietnam was at least ten times the size of the scorpions I see back home.
I later found out that the scorpion I was seeing in Vietnam was called a Vietnam Forest Scorpion, or technically speaking Heterometrus Laoticus. They thrive in tropical forests and jungles. There are 2 types of scorpions in GA.
The Southern Devil Scorpion and the Plain Eastern Stripeless Scorpion.
Moving forward, the meaning of seeing a scorpion on your path or in a dream, it may be trying to encourage you to transform. This transformation involves yourself personally, or some area of your life is about to transform. It also could be a warning that you will need to defend yourself from some kind of pending danger. Whether that is physical, mental, or spiritual. You are called to protect yourself at this time. Black onyx, obsidian, and tiger’s eye are good stones to wear at this time. And, the fragrances sandalwood and white sage may be helpful in protection from any negativity projected towards you. Trust your intuition about people and situations right now.
Call upon scorpion to help you rearrange your outlook and create an inner balance so that you can see more clearly and move forward safely. And, when you feel you need protection and shielding from negativity or psychic assaults from others. Call on scorpion when you’re dealing with all transformational cycles.
Seeing a scorpion could be foretelling that you are about to go through a transformation. It is advisable to become clean about issues in the past, or about your feelings so everyone can heal and you can get back to your present self. SPIDER
Spider’s eight legs signify business acumen and material success. With your thoughts, emotions, and actions you weave your world into being, but you may need to learn how to trap what you want without trapping yourself in unhealthy, poisonous patterns. Spider can show you how to use your creativity in a productive way, and how to weave your ideas into something useful to create what you want.
If you see a spider in nature or in a dream, it may denote a period of creative activity. A spider’s appearance can be a warning not to get caught in a web either of your own making or someone else’s! Spider’s medicine is to urge you to create! Look for new alternatives to your present impasse. Spider urges you to honor the intuitive, creative female side of ourselves. Spider’s message is to remind us to be creative in our view of what we are dealing with! To web what we need and want out of our life!
LADY BUG
One day, I was pondering a decision about taking action on a situation that had been predominately negative in just about every possible way imaginable! I was discouraged, but wanted to take steps to make things right and straighten out terrible misunderstandings. I didn’t want to make things worse, but in order to make things better, I needed more information to act. As I was pondering what to do, a lady bug barged into me and landed on my right arm! I jumped, and saw that it was a lady bug! It wasn’t even lady bug season! I picked up the lady bug and put her in a safe place, and thanked her! I knew that lady bug’s message is always to move forward, to take action that everything will turn out okay! Lady bug says YES!! Lady bug is like a green light in life. She tells you will be protected as you move forward in direction of your destiny and purpose. Lady bugs are especially auspicious if they jump on you, but any lady bug is a good omen.
HORNET
Hornets bring messages of warning. The warning is usually that there is a person is gossiping or talking negative about you. If you get a hornet in your car or house, it is a warning that someone is trying to invade you space, sting you, and bring you down. Usually because they see you as a threat to their agenda, and may possibly be trying to hurt you. Hornets can be annoying as they hover around you, nag you, and make threats. They are hard to get rid of when they end up somewhere they don’t really belong! Hornets impede your purpose and destiny, or at least try to! Hornet’s warning is that there is someone in your circle or beyond that is trying to deceive you, or people in regards to you. Hornets are very difficult to outsmart because of their agenda is often conflicting your “being”.
If you do get a hornet in your space, be very observant of the people around you, ask questions, and seek and speak your truth. Protect your personal space. Envision yourself in a bubble of protective, white light. Hornet’s message is a warning to be observant and cautious.
STINK BUG
Stink bug, also known as pentatomidae, asopinae, or shield bugs are a family of insects belonging to order Hemiptera. These bugs are masters at sensing the vibrations, and energy of those they encounter.
If you see a stink bug in waking life or in a dream, the message is all about prioritizing awareness to the senses and the sensual aspects of situations you are encountering. Stink bug can show connections between seemingly separate unrelated events with heightened intuition. Its message is to pay more attention to your instincts about people and situations. Stink bug medicine teaches the balance of concealment and surfacing.
The stink bug will guide you in proper use and balance of the positive and negative attributes of what is psychically sensed and what is physically sensed in your surroundings.There are five separate stages as insights are gained, and growth is achieved. I noticed and observed a few, which I have taken photos here. These bugs appear to fade as they become closer to their death. What I thought was revealing about these bugs is that seek out their partner right before passing. I found the bugs together after death! Stink bugs are extremely sensitive to smell, and will not offend you with a foul smell unless they sense danger. Stink bug’s message is to utilize your senses with what you encounter, especially over the next month.
